Every business needs to maintain communications with its clients and contacts in order to be successful. Many also employ targeted-marketing strategies to
attract new customers. E-mail has rapidly become the communications medium of choice for businesses and individuals alike. Why? Because e-mail is:
- Free
- Convenient
- Delivered immediately
- Pre-installed on every new computer, meaning everyone with a computer has e-mail
While not all forms of correspondence can be sent in an e-mail message, a good portion can. So instead of mailing,
faxing, or manually delivering information by hand or phone, why not send an e-mail message? It's cheaper, faster, and is delivered right away.

"Spam" is the term applied to unsolicited
messages broadcasted out to entire lists of e-mail addresses. Typically,
an e-mail spam message's header contains a huge list of "To:" e-mail
addresses, or some funky list name we've never heard of yet somehow managed
to become part of. We all receive e-mail spam blasts, and can't seem
to get away from it. In fact, we hate it. We receive so much of it that
when we see messages addressed to that funky list name, we delete them
immediately without even reading them. And, the senders of this type
of junk e-mail actually think it works! Think again!
DataBasix Technologies understands that e-mail
messages sent to groups of contacts can be legitimate and addresses
this need withits new E-Merge(tm) module, which
sends e-mail messages to groups of contacts without the
spam appearance. This E-Merge
technology automatically send an e-mail
message individually to recipients on a one-by-one basis, complete with only the
recipient's name and e-mail address in the message header, which virtually eliminates
your messages going out with the trash before they're read. What's
even better is that each message is automatically personalized
with a formal salutation and closing just like a
letter!

To: John Smith, john_smith@company.com
Subject: Follow-up on Telephone Conversation
Dear John:
I wanted to let you know that I am researching
what we spoke about during our telephone conversation earlier today.
I will contact you as soon as I find out everything you wanted to know. In
the meantime, please feel free to contact me should you have any further
questions, or require additional information.
Sincerely, Jane Doe Account
Manager ABC Company
Whether your e-mail messages are sent as
general correspondence or as part of an online marketing strategy,
wouldn't it be nice if you could somehow note the details of what you send
to your recipients for future reference? Of course it would, provided that
it doesn't require time-consuming chores on your part, right? As part
of our LeadCommander contact management and marketing system, our
E-Merge module automatically logs entries in your contacts' history pads
whenever E-Merge messages are sent. This process enables you to
maintain accurate details of what's transpired with each contact and,
if you're online marketing, later analyze the effectiveness of your
e-mail marketing campaigns.
